Default 69 RS headlight door problems

I have a problem that I have never run into before. Oddly enough I have my first RS project and the only problem with it is something I have never delt with before. When I turn the headlights on, they just shine through the doors. The doors do not open. Is there a magic switch that I don't kow about? I assume that when I turn the lights on, the doors will open. I know that the 69's are vacuum actuated. Where do I start tracking down the problem?

Are the actuators getting vacuum with the lights on? Trace the lines back if needed.

Found the problem, had to take the front of the car apart to find a hose that had come off.
Is there an electric conversion kit?

I was just reading about the headlight problem. I have a 68 camaro and everything was fine until I put in a crane cam and everyone told me that the cam caused the problem, because it created less vacuum to open the doors. The electric sounds like a good answer to that problem.
